The annual Spring Clean is already upon us so it is the perfect time to clear out the cobwebs and give your kitchen a new lease of life. The current market climate has been difficult, but there’s one room in the home where people still believe it’s good to invest-and that’s the kitchen. If a total overhaul is out of the question then why not refresh an existing room with a splash of paint or introduce a few signature pieces of furniture to bring it in line with the latest trends.
John Lewis of Hungerford offer a range of classic furniture pieces ranging from maple-top larder cupboards to a selection of handcrafted chairs. Exclusive to John Lewis of Hungerford the Artisan range comes in a whole host of colours and styles and lets the homeowner mix and match to create the look they like.
Known for its stylish, solid kitchens, John Lewis of Hungerford has been extending its traditional ranges over several years, extending its freestanding pieces to include worktables and dressers, kitchen surfaces and simple storage units. The worktables are a classic, practical addition to any kitchen and are available as a one, two or a three drawer option. Customers can also choose from oiled maple, marble or “Corian” worktop finishes.
This original Artisan table can be made into a square or rectangular shape and to virtually any measurement a customer requires. The table top is made from individual boards and the mortice and tenon joints are dowelled for extra strength. This table also comes as a maple-top option, in addition to a round option with a distressed effect pine top.
Charlotte Hill-Baldwin, Sales Director of John Lewis of Hungerford comments; “In the present market, people are understandably a little cautious about what they are spending on their homes. Everyone desires additional storage and more work surface space and updating kitchens with freestanding furniture is an easy, cost effective way to make a big difference to the most important room in the house! Artisan freestanding larders or worktables are ideal additions with classic looks that will blend easily with many other styles”.
